Kerry's journey into leadership is rooted in a unique background—she spent 13 years as an Occupational Therapist working with the geriatric population before transitioning to a District Manager role. While the work was rewarding, its physical demands led her to explore new career paths.
Her interest in association management was sparked when she assisted a friend at a pathology association. Over the past 20 years, she has guided not-for-profit associations, driving membership and conference growth while advancing their industries through advocacy. Kerry’s career is characterized by seizing unique opportunities, each building on her growing expertise.
At NPAworldwide, a member-owned recruitment network connecting independent recruiting firms globally, Kerry collaborates with her team and the Board to develop initiatives that add value to the membership and support the success of their businesses.
Fun Facts:
- Animal Lover: Kerry is an animal lover with a rescue pup named Bella. She has volunteered for various animal rights groups for 25 years and currently serves as an Animal Emergency Responder with the ASPCA.
- Avid Traveler: Kerry loves to travel and has visited six of the seven continents, with Antarctica still on her list. Her favorite experiences include African safaris, where she combined her love of animals and travel.
- Harley Rider: Kerry used to ride a Harley Davidson motorcycle but switched to a convertible due to the increase in distracted drivers. Now, she enjoys the best of both worlds—air in her hair and a bit more metal around her.
